  • Format: Team Match Play consisting of 12 Foursome Matches, 12 Mixed Four-Ball Matches, 12 Stroke Play Matches
  • How to win: Each match is worth 1 Point. USA needs 18 points to Retain. Europe needs 18 1/2 points to Win.
  • Defending Champion: Team USA won the 2018 Junior Ryder Cup in Paris, France. (USA 12 1/2 – 11 1/2 Europe)

  • Players will not show unsportsmanlike conduct, including cheating, club throwing, physical abuse, threat of physical abuse, verbal abuse towards other players, parents, captains, host golf course staff or members, Ryder Cup staff and officials, or volunteers. 
  • Players will dress in their team uniforms at all times while at the host facility
  • Players will not use or associate with drugs, alcohol, vaping, or smoking or chewing tobacco products
  • Players agree to care for the golf course and leave it in better condition than they found it
  • The Junior Ryder Cup Committee may assess varying penalties at their discretion pending the severity of the code of conduct breach.

  • Spectator Code of Conduct
    • Spectators agree to remain in the primary cut of rough at all times
    • Spectators agree to refrain from having any contact with players during their matches
    • Spectators agree to defer the review and enforcement of rules decisions to the players and the Junior Ryder Cup Referees
    • Spectators agree to demonstrate sportsmanship, respect, and a positive attitude
    • Spectators agree to abide by any rules and regulations of the host facility (dress code, cell phone policy, etc.)
    • Failure to comply with the spectator code of conduct can result in the immediate removal of the individuals involved for the remainder of the Junior Ryder Cup. Warnings may not be issued pending the severity of conduct breach.
